I’m not your average ‘online coach’.

My background is not as a personal trainer - it is as a medical doctor in the NHS.

Sadly I found the reality of my medical career was more about treating illness than promoting health but it just felt like there was never enough time. In 2020 I started my own business, educating and supporting women to be their happiest and healthiest self.

My understanding of the human body and mind means I can break down what someone wants to achieve (fat loss, growing glutes, improve 5km time..) into a step by step process of how to get there (the right rep ranges, sets and rest for exercises, the right macros and calories…). I use how the body works (and doesn’t work!) to get the outcome you want by setting you the habits you can do that will get you there.

Importantly it also means I know how and when to make changes along the way - in the same way we look different on the outside, we are different on the inside. Not all women respond to the same training styles, the same macro split or the same hours of sleep… as I get to know you better I’ll get to understand what really works and doesn’t work for you.

If you haven’t achieved what you have wanted in the past, its likely you’ve just not been doing the right things for you and that’s where my unique experience and knowledge comes in.

I mean it when I say ‘I know how you feel’.

I’m a 32 year old married woman with cats, family, friends and commitments outside of the gym. Exercise has to fit into my life, it’s not my number one priority and that’s perfectly normal!

I run my own business now and work exclusively from home, however I have spent the majority of my working life alternating on a monthly basis of shift work including earlies, lates, weekends, nights, and the 9-5 grind (thank you doctor rotas!)

At times I’ve had to commute hours each way into work, sometimes eating on the go, sometimes meal prepping.

I’ve been overweight - in my early 20s my BMI was ‘obese’ and I truly thought I’d ‘never be able to wear that’.

I was absolutely not the ‘sporty type’ at school. I was the chemistry geek who sat in the front row. At times I’ve hated exercise and had to drag myself to the gym - it’s certainly not been a natural love affair!

For a lot of my life my ‘go-to’ treat to myself was a greasy takeaway followed by overconsumption of sugary treats to the point of feeling so full I felt ‘stuffed’. Looking back, if I’m honest at times in my 20s I’m not sure I was really in control of cravings. I had to learn that.

For many years I made every excuse possible - my contraception, my metabolism, my genetics, my work… before I was able to accept I was just lying to myself.

Now I enjoy everything in moderation: exercise, meals out, alcohol, ‘sweet treats’ and even takeaways. I truly know what it’s like to feel unhappy and unhealthy so my aim is to help as many women realise it doesn’t have to be that way for good.

But this isn’t about me…

My coaching is suited to you, your goals, your experience, your likes and dislikes whilst fitting this around your unique life!
